Haptic Perception

Our sense of touch is an essential tool for perceiving and understanding the world around us. By using novel fabrication techniques, we conduct user studies investigating how individual physical properties help to understand an object’s material. These insights are used to build physical prototypes that allow a user to explore the tactile properties of a virtual environment.
